Crystyl Mo
Crystyl Mo
Crystyl Mo comes to journalism naturally, as her Shanghainese grandmother was one of the first female journalists in China. She grew up in the United States and has lived in China for twelve years. She worked as the China correspondent for Asiaweek, and has written for Time Asia, Conde Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, and The New York Times T Travel Magazine, among many prestigious publications. She writes a regular column for Shanghai’s City Weekend, and is Editor-in-Chief for Caring, the magazine of the Shanghai Charity Foundation, and English editor for Shanghai Tatler.
Coca Dai
Because of the Cultural Revolution, Coca Dai’s mother had to leave her hometown of Shanghai for Wuyuan in Jiangxi Province. Because of the call of art, Coca Dai came back to her birthplace to study, work, and live. The development of this city is just as fast as the speed of his thoughts, but neither can compare to the speed of his camera shutter. On his website you can see his creative work, and also images from his life. While he likes the art he makes from life, his favorite work of art is life itself.
